What are your store hours?

Our new winter hours are:
Monday - Saturday 10:00 - 6:00
Sunday- 12:00-4:00
We are closed on Easter Sunday, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. We have shorter business hours on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Do you repair clothing or quilts?

We sell the finest sewing machines by BERNINA, so you could learn to do your very own mending. That being said, no, we do not tailor, mend, or make custom garments.

Where are you located?

We are located at 15 Falls Road, in Shelburne, VT. We are right next door to the Shelburne Country Store and we have our own parking behind the shop.

Do you service sewing machines?

Yes, we currently only service BERNINA sewing machines.

How often should I oil my sewing machine?

Generally, every 3rd bobbin.

How frequently should I get my machine serviced?

Once a year is highly recommended, especially if you use your machine on a monthly basis. If you are a twice a year sewist (for Christmas and Halloween), once every two years should be fine. It is important to store your machine with a dust cover, in an area of your home with dry air and a steady temperature.
